Application background
As power electronics technology develops rapidly in recent years, high-power semiconductor applications are increasingly wide and classification of function becoming more and more detailed. Accordingly, in order to meet the power electronic device applications change, closed water cooling system targeted to make the appropriate adjustments, product features, applications, and other aspects of product structure constantly enriched and improved. With power electronics technology matures, the price of power electronic devices continue to fall, the power electronic device applied to client applications are increasingly wide spread and sophisticated, such as small reactive power compensation devices, high frequency devices and high-power transmission equipment develops rapidly recent years. Reactive power capacity of these devices in 5~12Mvar with cooling capacity of 50kW which has reached the radiating limits of self cooling mode, the device technical structure and character has a new requirement for cooling system. For relatively small capacity of these power electronic devices, Goaland has developed a modular light water cooled device, besides cooling capacity meets customer needs, its appearance and structure is also able to consistent with power electronics equipment for free seam binding, and it adopts modular design which makes it convenient and fast for installation and maintenance.
